Dear Board Member:
Our society is facing a great economic depression. In this time-period, our society desperately needs the future generation students to get a high education diploma. In other words, we need more of our students to graduate with a college degree, or at least a high-school diploma, to make sure that they have a bright future and to help fix our society.
We have seen many intelligent people in your district, but they don't have the money to go to college. Most of the students that we see drop out of high-school and decide to live a very stressful life. We want the best for our future U.S. citizens which is why we want to bring this program to APS. We have introduced this program to four other locations; Oakland, East Palo Alto, New Orleans, and San Francisco.
We are looking to start college track in Colorado for the first time and believe that you are just the right district to start at. Statistics show that 100% of our students graduated with a high-school diploma and over 90% of College Track high-school students are attending or have already graduated with a college degree. The national average is 56%. And 90% of our students are the first in their family to attend college. In the U.S., only 22% are first generation students.
With our current economic crisis, we cant stand to lose anymore anymore high-school students. We are hoping to make a difference in the students’ lives and increase the amount of college graduates. Please accept our offer to let us do so.
Sincerely,
Brandon Topete
